TheWritingWorkshop offers a wide range of creative writing activities for children and schools in New South Wales Australia (other places by arrangement!) and online.

School Holiday workshops at Sydney Olympic Park

TheWritingWorkshop holds school holiday creative writing courses every school holidays as part of the Kids in the Park program at Sydney Olympic Park. A range of courses are offered, usually spanning the age groups 6-17.

After-School workshops

What we do in our after-school children's creative writing workshops

• Small group writing workshops from Kindergarten to Year 9 mean more one-on-one attention, real rapport and group spirit, and great writing
• Write a new piece every week, and build skills throughout the term
• Weekly writing exercises, sometimes funny, sometimes serious
• Gain the skills and confidence to perform out loud
• Finished work published in the Cape Writing section of this website
• Achievement certificate at the end of each term.

After-school programs run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a maximum of 10 per group.
