About Emily
Workshops are conducted by journalist and fiction writer Emily Gibbs.
Emily Gibbs is a journalist and feature writer with Australian Community Media (ACM), working across several newspapers in the group. She also writes fiction - her work has been published in Bloom, the 2021 UTS Writers’ Anthology, and elsewhere. Emily is a graduate in Communications with a Creative Writing major from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She was a student of The Writing Workshop from year 4 to year 12, and has been a workshop leader for nearly ten years.
